Sweet and Yummy!

For what I've learned, there are three important elements in our food we eat everyday; glucose, protein and lipid. Among them, our body need glucose in a great amount because it is the substance that can convert to the energy quicker than other two. Especially, our brain can use only this type of substance in order to survive. It is very interesting, isn't it? So why are we try to quit eating the sugar? Kinda non sense I guess......;-)

So today our Camfashion gonna tell you where and which kind of food that you can find the most sugar to heat your body. Let's enjoy the world of Sugaring>.....
After a long day at school, I kinda pretty tired and stressful most of time. My brain starts to tell me... " hey, let go and get it!" why take you so long?". ..Hmm Hmm, but where I can find it.." at the same place u used to go" .

Uh Huh......What do you think? Really delicious, aren't they? Ice cream containts a lot of sugar, which can support the need for your body. Whenever you feel stress, ice cream can help to fresh up your mind. If u don't believe, try it and you will give me a very big thank! However, wanna look slim and sexy, be careful with the amount you are eating!!

So where you can find the yummy ice cream in Cambodia?
For my experience, there are several places that serve the good one.

- The new ice cream parlour in Phnom Penh: Swensen's Ice Cream at Sorya center
- The simple but tasteful ice cream: Lucky Seven and Lucky burger
- The unknown but serve the best: MK suki soup near Paragon Supercenter
- The one-should-experience in a life time: Blue Pumpkin in Siem Reap

The earthquake (Swesen's ice cream)

Ice cream at MK suki soup

ice cream at Blue Pumpkin

Do you think your eyes are abit blur right now? well, it is a symptom of tiredness, it means ur brain needs the sugar... So let's go! ;-)

The best shoot of the month!

CamFASHION touring around Cambodia

Welcome to our readers!
CamFashion went to few places in Cambodia in the last few weeks, and bring back some infors as well as some beautiful pictures of the places.
The first place that CamFashion went to is Kompong Som province or Sihanouk ville.
It is not the first time, I went to this province, but there is a new interesting location that I want to show our readers.
Since it is hard to explain how attractive the place is by the words, I will show the pictures of the place, so let's enjoy the scenary together:

The Bamboo Island

This bamboo island is very quiet and beautiful. Quiet doesn't mean u are gonna be the only human on the island, what I mean is that there are only few tourists who go there everyday.

The beach is so white and soft, and the water is blue and clear: when my nephews was swiming, I even ablee to see whether their trousers was still with them or not... he he he he ;-)

The transportation:

To get to the island, we have to hire a boat, but if you think you are a strong swimmer, you can swim there cz it takes only 1 h and 15 mn by taking the boat. It costs 50$ for one boat, however, if you are travelling alone, I would suggest you to contact the tour agency there because you can buy a ticket which cost 10$ per one person, and it includes the boat riding to many islands and the lunch.

Housing:

There are also the comfortable and clean wooden cottages on the island, so if you want to explore the island and enjoy the beautiful sunset there, you can rent the cottage. The rent price is very cheap, only 2 $ per night.

The restaurant:

The food in this restaurant is very delicious; variety of plates are serving everyday.

Oop! I should not tell you all the detail, it should be you whom the one to explore this beautiful island by yourself. Enjoy your trip, everyone......;-)

....................................................................................................................................................................

The second place that CamFashion visited is Siem Reap province again:

Because CamFashion already wrote about this province last time already, so I would rather explain and show the pictures of the new places to our readers.

There are lot of interesting places to visit in SiemReap, so it is hard to decide where to go first and second. In the afternoon, I decided to go to Barray for riding the boat to the island and having lunch there. The air is so fresh, and I could find our Cambodian food like Baked fish, Fried chicken, especially baked Prohok. It's very yummy, wanna try it again when I think of it.

At Barray

Last time I spent my night by visiting the Irish pub in the Sokha hotel, however, this time I went to the Night Market and European street instead.Walking and sightseeing in these areas is the most wonderful experience I have ever had...

European Street

The water festival is approaching, decide now where you wanna go for the holiday. I hope CamFashion can provide as much infors as you need. See ya.....;-)

P.S: Big thank to MH_Vid, without you I wud have no ideas how to organize my trip for my aunts. You are the best! Thank alot......

Your Dream Series!

Cambodia Fashion!

In Cambodia, most of the young people are phonaholic. What exactly is 'phonaholic'?
Phonaholic= phone+aholic

It means that they are addicted to the phones. I am not sure whether this happen or not in another country, but it widespread in Cambodia right now. In one year, some people may change their phone to a different series three or four times. To know more, let's read this conversation together:

A: Hi, dear! What kind of cell are you using ? It look cool.
B: Well, it's just N91.
A: I thought that you were using Nokia 6300 still.
B: Yep, i did, but I changed it last month. You know I really like N95, I think I gotta get it soon.
A: Umm hmm.... good!

For me, I don't say phonaholic is bad or good, but look at these pictures:

However, CamFashion still bring something cool for our readers this week.

The tips for your trip to Vietnam !

Welcome everyone! Our Cambodia Fashion come back again after a long long break...

As promise , I will provide you some tips for your trip to Vietnam, the esternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia.

Transportation:
In the past, people usually go by car or plane, however, since the road system is getting better now, we like to travel by bus, which is more comfortable and not so expansive.

With the bus, you do not have to tranfer from one car to another when you arrive at the border, all what you need is; walk into the custom office and have your visa checked. After that, the bus takes you directly to the Saigon city non-stop.

The Climate:

The weather in Vietnam is quite similar to ours, so do not need to bring any jacket or coat. Just take what you usually wear in Cambodia. The fashion in Vietnam is only a slight different from us...
The currency:

Some people feel so messy when they try to figure out how much this or that cost in Riel or dollar because most of the products are labeled or sold in VN currency: The Dong!
So here the tip:

Vietnam dong to Riel:

Riel= Vietnam dong /4

For example: 16.000/4= 4000 riel =1 $

1600.000/4=400.000 riel=100$

The value maybe a bit lower or higher, but it is still the easiest way to calculate. So momy and grandma, you don't have to worry now.. no need to take out ur calculator whenever you go to store again! ;-)

Shopping Centers:

Staying in Saigon around a week, I can't count how many market or supermarket I have gone to. In this city, there are so many supermarket in the block, and you can find whatever you want. However, you should know the products they provide are not the same, some with the best quality and some not , some so expensive and some with reasonable price.

Here some supermarkets that I know:

The supermarket Big C, I like this one because it has variety of products, and the price is also affordable.

However, if you want to visit something modern and high class, go to Diamond Plaza. The clothes with brandname, the modern leather handbag, the jewellery....and so on.

The Restaurant:

Most of time, I eat at where I see. If I am hungry, and I see the restaurant nearby, I just walk in and order the food. There are not any place particularly. However, If you are a fast-food addicted, you should try the "KFC", the chicken hamburger and chicken fried there are so yummy. The flavor is still on my nose whenever I think about this restau......he eh ehe heh

There are many things that I wanna tell all you guys, but If I keep writting, I think you might fall asleep while reading.... so I'd better stop my writting here...

And I may give more tips about Vietnam again when I come back from my trip to this country again next week.

....................................have nice day, everybody!.....................................................................

Different people have different ideas in gifts giving, but sth in common is that we all wan the receivers to be happy with our gift.

Some find it is easy to choose the gifts, but some find it is very difficult.

One of my best friend just left to USA yesterday, and my friends and I were finding so hard to find a gift for her, however, we found one at last.

Let's read this dialogue together:"

Dialogue between friends on the departure day:

A two-day trip to Siem Reap!

My fashion idea today is about where you should spend your time-litmited holiday!!

Hmm hmm..

Few years ago, whenever people thought about a trip to Siem Reap, they would expect it to be a long trip ranging from several days to weeks because the road system was so bad at that time.
However, after the new road was constructed, the tourists are able to experience the life in Siem Reap and visit many attractive temples and places in a much shorter duration.
So how does it work?
Well, simple and easy.

Last week, I packed my luggage on Friday, and left for Siem Reap by bus on the next day around 8:30 am.

I chose the Mekong Express Limousine Bus for my journey since its bus is very comfortable and also the staff are very friendly with a good cooperation to the guests or tourists. Oh for someone who does not travel a lot, you also should try this bus company because there is usually a guide who tell you the stories of serveral places in every step of your journey you arrive at.

The bus arrived at Siem Reap around 2:30 pm. Carrying my bag,and then I took the " tuk tuk" to the hotel. " Tuk tuk" is the easiest way of transportation in Siem Reap, and the price is also reasonable.

After relaxing in the hotel for few hours, I took " tuk tuk" for hanging around the town. Everywhere there are hotels, restaurants and pubs. The hotels that you should experience one in a life time including: Sokha hotel, Prince D'angkor, La paix, Amansara and so on.

When my friend finished the work at 6 pm, my real journey was beginning:

Firstly,

Mlop Poh restaurant

The resturant is quite small, but there are lot of customers everyday.
The food in this restaurant is very delicious including:

. The spaghetti
. The salad
. the hamburger
. the hambur steak
. the fried rice
. The soup
.........

Irish pub in Sokha Hotel

After having dinner at the Mlop Poh with MH, we went to the irish pub (underground) at the Sokha hotel. The singer, who is from phillipe, in the pub has a very good voice, and she is also very pretty... he he he he We spent couple of hours there, drinking the cocktails (called Margarita Cocktails), listening to music and also singing along.

Still early for going back to hotel, we went to ZoneOne Club because I want to explore the life of young people at night in Siem Reap. Actually, not so different from the Phnom Penh youth, many of them went to ZoneOne for dancing and meeting their friends.

On the Second day,

Most of my trip were spent in the Angkor Temple zone. We visited the Angkor wat temple, and the souvenir shop in front of the Angkor.

Angkor Wat Temple

Souvenir shop in front of Angkor

Such a great day at Siem Reap, really didn't wanna come back, but still had to go to school on Monday. I therefore took the bus back to Phnom Penh at 2:30 pm.....

That was my Trip!!!!!!!!!!!

Wanna know how it is like, should try yourself! ;-)
