A two-day trip to Siem Reap!

My fashion idea today is about where you should spend your time-litmited holiday!!

Hmm hmm..

Few years ago, whenever people thought about a trip to Siem Reap, they would expect it to be a long trip ranging from several days to weeks because the road system was so bad at that time.
However, after the new road was constructed, the tourists are able to experience the life in Siem Reap and visit many attractive temples and places in a much shorter duration.
So how does it work?
Well, simple and easy.

Last week, I packed my luggage on Friday, and left for Siem Reap by bus on the next day around 8:30 am.

I chose the Mekong Express Limousine Bus for my journey since its bus is very comfortable and also the staff are very friendly with a good cooperation to the guests or tourists. Oh for someone who does not travel a lot, you also should try this bus company because there is usually a guide who tell you the stories of serveral places in every step of your journey you arrive at.

The bus arrived at Siem Reap around 2:30 pm. Carrying my bag,and then I took the " tuk tuk" to the hotel. " Tuk tuk" is the easiest way of transportation in Siem Reap, and the price is also reasonable.

After relaxing in the hotel for few hours, I took " tuk tuk" for hanging around the town. Everywhere there are hotels, restaurants and pubs. The hotels that you should experience one in a life time including: Sokha hotel, Prince D'angkor, La paix, Amansara and so on.

When my friend finished the work at 6 pm, my real journey was beginning:

Firstly,

Mlop Poh restaurant

The resturant is quite small, but there are lot of customers everyday.
The food in this restaurant is very delicious including:

. The spaghetti
. The salad
. the hamburger
. the hambur steak
. the fried rice
. The soup
.........

Irish pub in Sokha Hotel

After having dinner at the Mlop Poh with MH, we went to the irish pub (underground) at the Sokha hotel. The singer, who is from phillipe, in the pub has a very good voice, and she is also very pretty... he he he he We spent couple of hours there, drinking the cocktails (called Margarita Cocktails), listening to music and also singing along.

Still early for going back to hotel, we went to ZoneOne Club because I want to explore the life of young people at night in Siem Reap. Actually, not so different from the Phnom Penh youth, many of them went to ZoneOne for dancing and meeting their friends.

On the Second day,

Most of my trip were spent in the Angkor Temple zone. We visited the Angkor wat temple, and the souvenir shop in front of the Angkor.

Such a great day at Siem Reap, really didn't wanna come back, but still had to go to school on Monday. I therefore took the bus back to Phnom Penh at 2:30 pm.....

That was my Trip!!!!!!!!!!!

Wanna know how it is like, should try yourself! ;-)
